Kylie arrived at Paris Fashion week looking every inch the elegant, minimalist beauty she is and Kylie bought the sun with her at the Schiaparelli Couture fashion show in Paris today (23rd January) by wearing a Schiaparelli lilac sleeveless mini-dress, with a huge sun embellished on the front.



Kylie wore a deep, dark red nail polish and wore a black pair of heels, a black jacket draped over her shoulders that had a cute royal blue silk butterfly detail on the inside and a pair of Wayfarer sunglasses with a pair of diamond drop earrings, with her hair tied back into an elegant chignon up do which showed her delicate jaw line.



Joshua was not with Kylie at the show but Kylie was not lonely as she hung out with her girlfriends fellow aussie and actress Melissa George, and Thandie Newton backstage who she posed for several pictures with.

Kylie Minogue -The Story Of 'I Should Be So Lucky'.

I Should Be So Lucky - Was released on December 29th 1987 by Mushroom Records and PWL Records.

The legend of how the track 'I Should Be So Lucky' was written goes a little something like this....

Stock Aitkin and Waterman forgot that this Australian actress called Kylie Minogue was coming to the studio. So when she got there they left her in the waiting room while they then penned in 30 minuets the track 'I Should Be So Lucky'.

It was Mike Stock who wrote the lyrics as he believed that even though she was a talented, successful Australian soap star in Neighbours and who was now becoming a big deal in the UK, there just has to be something wrong with her, possibly she is unlucky in love.

Within an hour Kylie had recorded the song and then was off, back home to Australia and she went straight back on set at Neighbours as the iconic Charlene Mitchell.
Mick Stock later said that he attributes to Kylie's good ear for music and the skill to memorize as to why it only took her the hour to record the track.



Directed by Chris Longman, the music video for 'I Should Be So lucky' was filmed in November 1987 at Channel 7 Studios in Melbourne, Australia.
 
The video is set in Kylie's home with her dancing around, picking up clothes, looking longingly at a picture of a boy she wants but can't have, and the iconic bubble bath scene and she is also dancing in front of a chalk board with 'I luv you', and a heart with an arrow through it, all symbols of loovvveee and the 'Girl next door' image.

There was also another video made for the song. The second version was made for live television promotion.
In it you see Kylie in the back of a soft top car, wind in her hair while she is singing and smiling to camera, as well as waving to passers-by as she rides through the streets of Sydney.

Newmarket Nights, Cambridge Friday 19th June 2015

 

Kylie has been one busy lady with her Kiss Me Once tour which started on the 24th September 2014 at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, UK and ended on the 28th March 2015 in Kylies birth home Australia.

 

Kylie played 29 dates in Europe, 5 dates in Australia, and 1 date in Asia. That's a total of 35 shows.

And now performs to sell out crowds over 3 summer nights, starting with Newmarket.

 

Kylie launched the first of this years Newmarket Nights at Newmarket Racecourse in Cambridge which was the start of a very busy weekend for our Queen of Pop.

Kylie took a little time out hours before she was to perform to a sell out crowd. Kylie went to visit a legend in his own right, Frankel at the stud farm, near Newmarket which is also his birth place. Frankel who has an unbroken and record breaking career on the track seemed happy to meet a fellow legend.

 

Then it was off to get ready for the biggest disco in Newmarket. 

 



The show started with Breath Intro with spectacular dancers all dressed in red and black commanding the stage then Kylie appeared dressed in a red leopard print jumpsuit and kicked off her hour and a half set with one of her classic hits Better The Devil You Know to a sold out crowd.

 

Then followed up with:

In Your Eyes, and
Wow.
 

Then Kylie went off for a quick costume change, the first of four in total.

Kylie emerged in a red mini dress with red thigh high boots to:

Can't Get You Out Of My Head,
Slow,
I Should Be So Lucky,

For the penultimate part of what can only be described as spectacular show, Kylie came out in a gold outfit to perform:

Love At First Sight,
Celebration, and
All The Lovers.

 

One more costume change and Kylie wore a black out fit and performed an encore performance of Into The Blue.

Haydock Park. Liverpool Saturday 20th June 2015

 

Kylie amazed and was a triumph to the 20,000 strong crowd at Haydock Park in Liverpool, UK..

The set list and costumes stayed the same so Kylie kicked off the show with 'Better The Devil You Know'.

 

Kylie was only in Liverpool performing last September when she opened her 'Kiss Me Once tour to sell out crowds of #lovers.

Hyde Park British Summer Time, London Sunday 21st June 2015

 

Kylie headlined at the iconic London venue British Summer Time at Hyde Park in London on the longest day of the year to an adoring crowd.

 

Kylie looked every inch the regal pop princess she is as she appeared on stage in a sparkly crown adorned with red roses and a black cape with a white trim.

 As a fun addition to her set, Kylie got the crowd singing the theme tune to Neighbours just before the 10:30pm curfew.

 

Kylie also had some celebrity friends in the audience singing and dancing along. David Walliams of Britain's Got Talent Judge, and Caroline Flack co-host on X-Factor UK.

 

David praised Kylies performance on twitter by posting @kylieminogue might just be the greatest pop star on the planet. Tonight's concert at Hyde Park was magical, & she looked beautiful'.

Saturday night was Kylie night in my house as she appeared on The Johnathan Ross Show for a chat.

Johnathan highlighted Kylies 30 years in the business with 33 top 10 singles, 7 of which went to number 1, and has sold a massive 70 million records world-wide.
Enter Kylie... To rapturous applause Kylie stepped out in a beautiful lavender evening dress by Francesco Scognamiglio and Lance metallic heels by Jimmy Choo.

As the chat got underway, Kylie said that while she was ill in hospital with cancer, a surgeon admitted that he listened to Kylie when he is sewing up his patients. She went on to say that she is approaching her 10 year anniversary and on the day she will be thanking family and friends and having a big glass of champagne.

Talk then went on to her nephews and how she loves spending time with them and her Mum and Dad, and James her nephew is loving Into The Blue.
Chat then went onto her Kiss Me once world tour and how on the Australian leg of the tour Georgio Mordor has joined her to perform the billboard No1 Right Here Right Now
as well as playing tribute to the late Michael Hutchinson of INXS by performing "I Need You Tonight",and Kylie feels that Michael has been her Guardian Angel through this tour.
Kylie admits it was hard splitting up with Michael but admitted that he had showed her "The wild side" but that he was always very sweet with her as she was his "little special thing".

• Little fact: Johnathan went outside to Kylies fans and invited them into the studio to watch their idol the Princess of pop.
• Also I just want to give a big shout out to Team K who love and follow Kylie and Kristian got his 😊 well deserved.

Kylie WOWS at The Closing Of The Commonwealth Games Scotland 2014

Kylie's Live Performance Was Like A Mini Concert Which Left Everyone Wanting More.

I was sat at home as I patently waited 1 hour and 4 minutes to see Kylie perform and she didn't let me or her 40,000 strong live audience as well as a global audience of 1 Billion down.

Kylie came out onto the stage looking fabulous in a beautiful head dress with what looked like black feathers with black sparkly gems.
Followed by a black and bright pink corset with what I would say are diamonds twinkling away with a bushel around the hips.
And those boots..... they were made for walking baby. They were thigh high black leather boots to finish off the look, and what an amazing look. Could be a sneak peek into what the ''Kiss Me Once'' Tour costumes might look like.


Kylie set list went in this order:

1. Spinning Around.
2. Into The Blue.
3. Love At First Sight.
4. All The Lovers.
5. The Locomotion.
6. Beautiful.
7. Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

While Kylie was performing ''Love At First Sight', all the people in the crowd were doing heart shapes with their hands. It was a ''Beautiful' thing to see.

Kylie interacted with her audience all the way through, asking ''Do you believe in love'', and as she was going to sing ''All The Lovers'', she asked ''Are you ready to step back in time''.

While performing Locomotion Kylie disappeared and her amazing dancers took over. They complemented Kylie well and was able to keep the crowd entertained while Kylie made a costume change.
A random girl in a bright green jumper who found her way onto the stage waving a little flag was swiftly taken away before Kylie came back on stage in a stunning white and gold Aphrodite/Goddess style dress that came to the knee and gold sandal type shoes with heels.
Kylie then performed 'Beautiful', before finishing off the night with ''Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

Kylie owned that stage, she and the dancers used practically every inch of that stage and it was all perfection.
Everyone was up and dancing to all her songs, especially the Locomotion, even the police could not stop them selves from ''doin the locomotion''.
''Cant Get You Out Of My Head'' was a perfect end to an amazing, live performance from Kylie.

Maybe this was a taster for her up and coming ''Kiss Me Once'' Tour which kicks off next month 24th September at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

After Kylie's Stella performance last night, I would say her ticket and album sales will go up through the roof.

Kylie Minogue will perform to 40,000 people at the closing ceremony of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014.

Set your watch, the finale will begin at 9.00pm UK time, on Sunday 3rd August on the BBC channels.

Kylie will be performing at the closing of The Commonwealth Games this Sunday 3rd August 2014.

Kylie's performance will represent the Games' transfer to her native homeland Australia in 2018.

Around 40,000 people are expected to attend the closing ceremony and this will be broadcast live on BBC as well as in 71 Commonwealth nations and territories.

Kylie's released her 12th studio album this year and will soon embark on a 33-date UK tour which starts Wednesday 24th September at the Liverpool Echo Arena 7:30pm.

In her long and glittering career Kylie has had no less than 68 million, yes you read that right 68 Million records worldwide. Wow.
